Latest Project
Ucuquer Wind Farm, Chile

The Ucuquer wind farm project in central Chile is Envision's first ever project in South America, marking the beginning of Envision’s expansion in the region.

Envision has added five 2.1MW turbines, with 110-meter blades, to the existing 18.5MW project. Ucuquer has been in operation since 2014.

Logistically challenging, Envision managed delivery of all equipment from China to Chile, including specialist transportation of turbines from port to construction site at the end of their 12,000 mile journey by sea.

Overseeing the installation, which included the use of a specialist Eco Crane weighing 1,200 tons and requiring road clearance of 6 meters, the Envision team more than doubled the turbine fleet at the facility.
